Hey! This place is as authentic as it gets. Second visit and we were all pleased w the service and the food. $3 tacos you can easily turn into two so order three and eat 6. Cris is doing it simple and doing it right. Nothing fancy but really tasty. Watch that house sauce. Its got a kick Definitely on my list of regular stops and it should be on yours too Total win.

We were pleasantly surprised with the food here. We are pretty discerning with our Mexican food, and this place may be what we need to keep our tummies happy. It's nothing fancy, it's your typical hole in the wall joint, but the food was good! We ordered the guacamole to go with our obviously house-made chips, and it was pretty tasty. We prefer our guac a little more chunky with onions, tomatoes and some more kick, but it was still a good flavor. My husband got the steak burrito and thoroughly enjoyed it, the whole thing was devoured in about 5 minutes. I got the Torta Cubana, which came on an authentic roll, not a hamburger bun, and had a great blend of flavors. None of the meats overwhelmed the other and it just was super yummy. Their red and green sauces are creamy, with a bit of kick and well worth trying out.

First time in here - def not disappointed and will return. Tortilla chips before the food came out were delicious and clearly made right there in the back. Fajita meats were perfectly seasoned and the chicken taquitos were solid. This is a great addition to downtown, hope it sticks around for a while!

Salsa was good with the chip starters, then it all went downhill. The waitress looked bothered that we had come in and dared sat down to eat. Very limited on drink choices. My wife and son ordered chicken dishes but couldn't get through 1/4 of them due to finding bones in the chicken. I went to pay and they still wanted to charge me for them. This place is not going to last. I'd rather drive to Chipoltle in Bel Air than drive down the street for this place. Never again.

Ok, so here goes. We ordered 3 things for our first visit. BEEF Carne asada, chicken burrito and mixed fajitas. On the plus side: The chicken burrito was excellent, of a generous size, and everything in it was very fresh. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. We will order that again. The fajitas came with chicken beef and shrimp. Once again, the chicken was excellent. The shrimp were amazing, well seasoned and plump. The beef was passable. It came with fresh lettuce, sliced radishes, a lime wedge sliced avocado, mexican rice, refried beans and queso fresco. It does not come with shredded cheese or sour cream, but they will bring it to you if you request it. What really put this dish over the top, however, were the onions and multicolor bell peppers. Thinly sliced and well caramelized, they brought the dish to a whole new level. Will definitely order again. The staff is obviously green, but they are really trying. Experience will come, the desire to do well cannot be bought. On the minus side: The carne asada, while flavorful, was just a tough piece of beef. A lot of tendons and gristle. However, when pointed out to the waitress, the cook came out and apologized personally, and asked if we wanted it remade or replaced with something else; that gives them a free pass in my book. Maybe it was just a bad piece of beef. The tortillas that came with the fajitas were corn and a little greasy. Nothing wrong with that if you like corn tortillas. I happen not to. Side notes: they have a house made hot sauce that is NOT for the faint of heart, and a flavorful green tomatillo sauce. Ask for it. The salsa that came on the table with corn chips was also excellent, very fresh and loaded with jalapeños. CONCLUSION : a nice effort, and while there were a few bumps, they are green and trying yo improve. The food was fresh and flavorful. This place has the potential to be a true little gem in Havre de Grace. The total for the 3 dishes and 2 sodas was $33.89. We will definitely try them again.

Came here for carry out. I came in and looked at the paper menu prior to going to the cashier to put in my order.the menu was pretty limited and I got two steak tacos and a steak burrito for my husband. I then waited for a long time, the people that ordered just before me finished their chips and food before I got mine. I also had to ask for hot sauce instead of being offered any for my to go order. Food was pretty good. Tacos were a bit pricey for the small amount of meat. Husband liked the burrito.he said it was good in a generic kind of way. Overall, just ok.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
